I smelled a chamomille from my cup of tea. It was my second order after a double cappuchino. It was a lovely day when I took a day off on Thursday, Friday and it was like… weekend came early!
I spent my Thursday evening with Fareed Zakaria’s book with a chamomile tea. Recently, I was quite exited to read Fareed Zakaria’s The Post American World. It is not another Jeremy Clarkson. It is about the raise of the rest, the raise of the other countries besides US and the western countries. He wrote about asia. I don’t wanna give a review of this book, I haven’t finished reading it. But every chapter, even every sub chapter really made me said “yeah… that’s right”
My favourite part is culture. In chapter 3 he wrote about culture, but in chapter 2 he also wrote about nationalism where there ae 2 sentences that facinates me : “We still think of a world in which raising power must choose between two stark options : integrate into western order or reject it, becoming rogue nation and facing the penalties of excommunication. In fact, raising power apper to be following the third way : entering the western order but doing so on their own terms -thus reshaping the system itself.”
